About Us

Daniel was born in Ukraine to a christian family in 1957. His father was Physician Assistant and pastor of the underground church, because of religious persecution in the USSR in Soviet time. Raised on strong christian values of helping people and following in the footsteps of his father, Daniel finished his BSN at Riga 2nd Medical College in Latvia. In 1990 Daniel as a religious refugee moved to the USA with his wife and 3 kids. In 1994 Daniel started to work for Mission Hospital as Trauma and Intensive Care Nurse and continues to work there now. Daniel was active in Slavic communities for over the years by organizing events in the communities: supporting adoption programs, organizing concerts, camps and other community events. In February 2022, when an active war started in Ukraine, Daniel immediately became involved in helping Ukraine. Immediate assessment was done through social networks in Ukraine. Local communities: nurses, local Ukrainian community, churches were involved along with Daniel’s Family. 

Dr. Robert Winokur, Emergency Physician is retired with humanitarian contributions.

Dr. Winokur worked at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center as ER Director from 1996-2014. He was a Board of Trustee member 6 years, Chairman of the Board 2 years. Dr. Winokur was on the board for Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and prior Boards in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Winokur has leadership experience and clinical experience.  He continued international contribution to patient care: Most pertinent, Ukraine Fall 2022. Additional locations include Peru, Guatemala, The Indian Health Service and Laos.

Dr. Winokur is strongly committed to service, with the belief that all human beings are entitled to medical care. The chaotic nature of the world demands goodness, service, compassion and excellence. This is why he supports the humanitarian organization Healing Scalpel. His objectives are to provide support to those who are unable to support themselves, emotionally, physically and medically.  

Dr. Keany served as the Managing Partner and Associate Director for the ER Physician group, Mission Viejo Emergency Medical Associates. He has been on staff at Mission Hospital for 26 years. Dr Keany graduated from ULCA School of Medicine and was residency trained at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Emergency Medicine. After completing a Post Graduate Certification in Safety Quality, Informatics, and Leadership at Harvard School of Medicine, Dr Keany has led many quality initiatives at Providence Mission hospital. These projects have lowered sepsis mortality, improved ED wait times and patient satisfaction, and improved caregiver communication hospital wide. Dr. Keany is a member of Providence Health’s core faculty, collaborating with colleges and raising the bar across Providence Health acute care hospitals nationwide. He is a senior medical officer on a federal disaster response team assembled by the Department of Health and Human Services, National Disaster Medical Services, Office of Preparedness and Response. He also serves as medical director for the Orange County unit of the California Medical Assistance Team.

Over his years of tenure, Dr. Keany has served in many leadership roles and committees. Most recent roles include the Providence Mission Hospital Chief of Staff and Board of Trustees member, Chairman of the Quality Committee of the Board of Trustees, Member of the Medical Executive Committee and Emergency Services Committee. Dr Keany was recognized as one of Orange County’s Most Influential by the Orange County Register in 2020. “Dr Jim” can be heard weekly on Los Angeles’ #1 rated morning drive time talk show, “The Bill Handel Show”, on KFI 640am.

Jesse has a very diverse background digital marketing and a passion in using his skills to help the world around him. As a young adult, he teamed up with non-profits like Samaratins Purse and Saddleback Church doing countless mission trips and projects in helping other people in need.

His professional career started in the music industry, being a part of music labels, publishing companies, e-commerce, entertainment, and advertising. Then went on to help develope brands and creating product placement TV segments with big names like PageSix, Celebrity page, and Univision. After that went into finance and supply chain management for a national product development company. Jesse now has a successful digital marketing company and is now able to leverage all of his experience to help other companies achieve their goals.
